Steps To get Married in Final Fantasy 14

Applying on Mog Station

If you want to get married in Final Fantasy XIV, you need to register for it at the Mog Station. If you want to marry someone with your character in Final Fantasy XIV, you need to log into the game with the account you want to use.

Choose the optional items from the top menu after you log in. Standard, Gold and Platinum are the 3 wedding plans you can choose from.

The Gold and Platinum are priced at $10 per player and $20 per player respectively, and the Standard plan is free.

The standard plan has the least amount of add-ons and customization options while Platinum has the most. You can use the description of the plans to make a detailed analysis and buy accordingly.

You will get a Promise Wristlet later on through the moogle delivery service according to the plan you choose. It is necessary for you and your partner to retain this wristlet. It is necessary that you and your partner have the same wristlets. You can buy 2 and give one to your partner, or you can buy it separately.

You will receive the quest “The Ties that Bind” which is all the planning for your wedding.

The Ties that Bind Quest Guide

You can begin the quest by talking to Claribel. The Sanctum of the Twelve is in East Shroud. You cannot start the quest without the Promised Wristlets in your inventory. You will be able to obtain your ceremony attire and also craft two eternity rings during this quest.

Plan and Customize the Ceremony

You can plan and personalize the ceremony by talking to Raitmeaux in theIvory Chapel after you have completed the quest and got the rings.

It is recommended that you and your partner agree on the same settings so that Raitmeaux can proceed and prepare for the ceremony. It is possible to think of what you want to do for the ceremony.

There are three wedding styles; The Lover’s Kiss, The Spinner’s Hand and The Solemn Oath. There is a distinct style to the wedding in each style.

The lighting, carpet colour, flower colour, bouquet bearer, fabric colour, and the music to be played can be chosen by you.

Make Reservations

It is time to make a reservation after you have planned and tailored everything for the ceremony.

You need to speak with Etoinelle, who is standing at the entrance of the chapel. On the basis of the wedding plan you have bought, there are slots reserved.

If you have scheduled the date and time for your wedding, you can proceed to make other arrangements, such as inviting guests.

Inviting Guests

Both of you will be given a blank invitation when you schedule the ceremony with Etoinelle. You can use that blank one to make wedding invitations, and send them to people you want to invite at the wedding.

You can either send the invitations directly to the player or you can use the moogle delivery service. A total of 80 people can be invited for the wedding, with a maximum of 40 invited per player.

After inviting guests, nothing is left to be done other than attend the ceremony.

Hosting the Ceremony

The first thing that couples and their guests need to make sure of is that they have blank invitations and wedding invitations with them. Otherwise, they won’t be able to attend the wedding. The ceremony will be delayed if you or your partner are not in the venue within 20 minutes.

  • If everyone is on time, the wedding ceremony will start according to the style you chose.
  • You need to speak to Claribel after the ceremony to complete the quest: The Ties that Bind.
  • You will receive rewards according to the wedding plan you chose when the quest is complete.

Setting the Date of Anniversary

You can commemorate your special day in the future when the marriage proceedings are over and the special quest is over. To confirm or select a date for your anniversary, you can speak with Hawu Bajihri at Sanctum of the Twelve. When the anniversary arrives, you and your partner can revisit the quest “The Ties that Bind”.
