Halo Infinite No Sound Issue on Xbox? How to Fix
Fix #1: Apply “Stereo uncompressed” settings to your speaker/headphone
To get the best possible sound out of your Xbox, Halo’s official support team recommends that you apply “Stereo uncompressed” as your default speaker or headphone setting. Playing the game with headphones may improve your listening skills and help you get an edge when playing the game.
To apply the “Stereo Uncompressed” option, you need to turn off Halo Infinite on your console, then press the “XBOX” logo on your controller.
If you have a Microsoft Xbox 360, go to the system menu and then select your profile. Next, you’ll see the ‘System Settings’ page. C: There you will find an option called “Speakerphone Mode”. By turning this option off, you will stop people from eavesdropping on your calls.
For those of you playing the game on speakers, look for the little audio option in the top right corner of your screen. You’ll see it has two boxes. One says ‘Stereo’ and one says ‘Uncompressed’.
